10+ Gift Ideas for Mom

#1.  Vintage Floral Hair Wraps

Gracie and I wear these floral hair wraps all the time.  I wear them when I don’t feel like washing my hair yet, or I am about to work out.   I, however, can’t rock anything in my hair like Gracie can with her super cute curls!!

#2.  6-in1 MultiUse Glass Server, Punch Bowl, Chip and Dip Bowl, Cake Stand

10+ Gift Ideas for Her

This is one of those functional kitchen items that also has a classic appeal because doesn’t it feel good to have homemade muffins, cookies, cake or pie displayed on a pretty glass stand?  Move over Martha Stewart.  But what I love about this stand is that it also functions as a veggie dip tray, punch bowl, chip and dip bowl etc.  In our current house this stand lives on top of our microwave, and the kids are always checking to see what baked good might have appeared when they get home from school!

3.  EcoVac Robot Vacuum

10+ Gift Ideas for Mom

Wow. Well, I could and should do an entire post on this little guy.  This robot vacuum is affectionately referred to as Deebot, and he has become a very important member of our family.  Don’t be fooled by the price tag as this vacuum costs hundreds less than it’s iRobot Roomba counterpart.  This machine could suck up a small cat.  Sorry honey I don’t know where Fluffy could have gotten to??  I have emptied everything from bracelets, marbles, and playing cards from this guy.  It has app controls and syncs with Alexa and Google Assistant.   At the press of a button, Deebot sweeps up the crunched Cheerios that are scattered all over our kitchen floor while I empty the dishwasher (or sit and read a book, let’s be honest).  He can be programmed to start sweeping daily or while you sleep at night.  Ever notice how dust and dirt tends to collect around the perimeter of your house near the floor boards or under your kitchen cabinets?  Well, press a button and Deebot will efficiently sweep up the entire perimeter of your floor while you cook dinner!  He does well on carpet or hard flooring.  Add my 5 star review to the thousands on Amazon.  I am telling you moms out there, you will not be disappointed.  Check out the detailed review below!

#5.  Magnolia Table Cookbook by Joanna Gaines’

10+ Gift Ideas for Mom

I am not a huge cookbook fan.  My need for quality over quantity mixed with a mild degree of OCD results in a degree of stress over figuring out which cookbook has that recipe I am looking for, and do I really need 5 different recipes for chicken parm?  That being said, Joanna Gaines’ cookbook is as delightful a read as it is a cookbook.  She talks about her pantry, her cooking staples, and the stories behind every recipe.   I have never been a by the book kind of chef and tend to change out multiple ingredients, but as always, Joanna’s sense of home is an inspiration and her cookbook does not fall short.  And to top it off the front cover is gorgeous and looks very pretty on my countertop.

#7.  Rekucci Women’s Barely Bootcut Stretch Pants

Being a mom for the first time was life changing for many reasons.  One of these reasons, however, was an epic realization that stretchy pants with belly flattening panels should be worn always and traditional zipper and button styles should be considered a form of unnecessary tummy torture.  When I discovered there were companies who specifically designed pants with this concept in mind for day to day wear I have never looked back.  Flattering AND comfortable.  Sign me up.  The Barely Bootcut Stretch Pant by Rekucci is one of my favorite pants.  I have bought jeans, capris, and shorts from this company as well!

#7.  “A Touch of Farmhouse Charm” Book

10+ Gift Ideas for Mom

Sometimes craft books include projects that are overly complicated alternatively so cutesy and simple you will never use it.  A Touch of Farmhouse Charm, by Liz Fourez from Love Grows Wild, is the perfect blend of DIY farmhouse style projects for the home.

#8.  Root Candles

These are the best tapers around, and the only ones I use anymore.  They burn evenly without dripping and last for hours.  I can usually get two “evenings” out of them.  They are available in many colors and several different styles.

#9.  GoBena Coffee for Orphans

Gobena Coffee is a no fail Christmas gift option.  Not only does every purchase support the care of orphans around the world, but the coffee is so good.  I mean really good.  100% win, win.  Merry Christmas.  Amazing coffee.  Amazing cause.   Zach and I liked it so much we stopped using our Keurig on a daily basis and bought a grind and brew coffee maker because the freshly ground whole beans were so good.  Gobena offers organic blends, hazelnut, peppermint vanilla, pumpkin, mocha, espresso, decaf – they have over a dozen varieties available in whole bean, ground and k-cups! I’m off to pour my second cup of coffee . . . (the organic Honduran blend to be specific).

13 years ago an elderly Ethiopian farmer, Gobena, rescued a baby girl who had been abandoned near his home.  Four weeks later Gobena and his wife carried baby Eva 5 miles to a local orphanage where she was later adopted by an American couple, Steve and Danae.  Gobena’s act of love inspired the couple to start Gobena Coffee, providing freshly roasted, ethically sourced coffee from local farmers all around the world.  100% of the profits go to Lifesong for Orphans, a leading non-profit organization with the mission of bringing joy and purpose to orphaned and vulnerable children around the world.

Perhaps the most meaningful gift of all, any purchase made through the above Gobena Coffee links will support our own family’s adoption.  For anyone who clicks through those links and buys coffee, we are personally sending you a big family cyber hug for helping to bring our son home through adoption.  Ok, I’m tearing up now!

#10.  Life Comfort Super Soft Fleece Bed Sheets

10+ Gift Ideas for Mom

I cannot say enough about these sheets.  Why there aren’t more reviews on Amazon actually boggles my mind.  Probably because no one using them wants to get out of bed.  We call these the “magic sheets” in our house, and since we have put them on our bed the kids always want to have family cuddle time with us now.  Gracie and Caleb both asked when they were getting their own set?!  Haha.  These sheets are also in and out of stock at Costco, so be sure to check there too, but they come in a couple colors in various sizes.  I am telling you.  Absolutely amazing.

The other day I was looking for Lily who was wandering around with only a diaper on and if anyone else has a 2 year old you know how nerve wracking that is because my 2 year old has been known to remove said diaper on her own.  Well, I found her.  In the magic sheets!  (With her diaper on for the record).  With one of my dresses bunched up under her head?  Strange child.  Next thing I knew – sound asleep in the magic sheets 😉
