Have leftover brick pavers you aren’t sure what to do with? Discover 8 creative ways to use brick pavers around your home.
When we bought the French Country Cottage fixer-upper a couple of years, one of the design elements that I really wanted to try my hand at was a reclaimed mortar-washed brick floor.
So I started scouring FB marketplace for brick.
I found 2 skids of reclaimed brick that had been the walkway at a local greenhouse.
It was delivered to us (more like dumped) in the middle of winter, and we to stack them brick by brick back onto the skids.
Not only did we finish the mortar-washed brick floor (in 2 rooms), but we have been able to do so many other projects with the leftover brick!
If you have leftover brick sitting around that you’re not sure what to do with, then use these 8 creative ways to use leftover brick pavers.
1. Brick Flooring
This was the first reclaimed brick floor that we finished.

3. Brick Lined Raised Garden Beds
I built these raised garden beds with cedar plank and lined them with the brick that was leftover after we cut off the thin brick that we used for the backsplash and accent wall.
4. Brick Planters
Brick planters are an easy way to use leftover brick pavers.
5. Brick Backsplash
Easily one of my very favorite projects was the reclaimed brick backsplash in our kitchen.
The French Country Cottage kitchen renovation was possibly the biggest before and after transformation in our home.
2 years later, and it has held up beautifully.
I will definitely do this again when we build our forever home.
