If you have been following along with our French Country cottage fixer upper, then you may remember the breakfast nook looked like this!
Which now looks like this by the way!
If you missed the breakfast nook reveal, then check it out here.
Back to the before shots. The wall on your right in the above picture is where the coffee bar is going to go. Hi sweet Lily girl!
Ok one more angle. Get the picture? It is going on the short wall on the other side of the family room.

Our coffee bar!
We built out that wall by a couple inches to make this a 42 inch wall. I designed it with two 9 inch cabinet bases flanking a set of 24 inch wide drawers. I absolutely LOVE these vintage copper knobs and pulls. I had to put my gorgeous antique French buffet in storage because there wasn’t room at this house, so those lower cabinets hold my china, table settings etc.
I miss you gorgeous buffet. We will see you again one day when we build Our French Country Home!
I added this pallet coffee rack, and it was the easiest DIY!! If you missed the tutorial on How to Add a Pallet Mug Rack to Any Kitchen Cabinet then read it here!
We use this rack every day. See that antique window frame? That came from the Victorian fixer upper . It was an original window from the garage that used to be a carriage house.

Remember when Zach and I picked up a bunch of 150 year old barn beams? Well we have gotten great use out of them!
We used them to frame our open-concept master closet here.
But we also used them for our coffee bar shelves!

The machine on the left is our amazing Lattisima Plus Automatic Espresso machine. LOVE THIS espresso maker.
If you missed my post on how to make these creamy and delicious lattes and espresso at home with the touch of a button, then read it here!
If you have been following our family’s adventures, then you know we are incredibly blessed to be in the process of adopting. That coffee you see there is from an amazing organization called GoBena, and we have been privileged to be able to partner with them! If you love coffee and want to help bring an orphan home to his forever family, then we would be honored if you would check out our family’s story here!

A rose from our gorgeous coral color rose bushes makes everything prettier!
This tin was actually a planter, but it has worked beautifully for all of our hot chocolate packets. I love the Keurig coffee maker for guests, because they can easily make hot chocolate with the hot water function.
This vintage percolator was an Ebay find, and I use it when we have large parties. It adds that lovely French flair to a farmhouse style pallet!
When we have guests I will add a little peppermint or caramel syrup to the lattes we make with the automatic espresso machine that I mentioned above. I just wrapped them with fabric and labeled them. I wash them out and refill them as needed.
That antique cream and sugar set were Zach’s grandmother’s, and I get them down every time we have company and set them by the coffee machines.
Coffee and Jesus. Amen. I hope you found some coffee bar inspiration today!! Now go refill that mug and enjoy another cup of coffee!!

Found you via the link up on Wonderful Wednesday. My gravy, this is just adorable. Y’all are serious about your coffee. And I love that. Great contrast between the natural wood shelves and the white cabinet. Everything is perfect!
Oh listen coffee is no joke in this house. Haha. Thanks so much! Thrilled that you stopped in!!
I LOVE your coffee bar and now my brain is percolating with ideas for our kitchen.
