Healthy Meal Plan #52 And Christmas Fun
Happy meal plan Monday! How was your Christmas? This was the first year our little family had an entire day to celebrate Christmas together!
This guy has been on candle duty for the last 10 years.
I love Christmas morning!
For the last 10 years we have had our own little Christmas on the morning of the 24th and then went to my parents for the rest of the day. Followed by Zach’s parents the morning of the 25th, my FIL’s side for the evening, my dad’s side for Christmas then my mom’s side a day or two later.
Blessed busyness right there.
But this year we changed it up and our little family got to spend the WHOLE day together on Christmas Eve which was when Santa came to our house. 🙂
Because my mom was a nurse we grew up celebrating Christmas day whenever my parents said it was Christmas day. The 25th wasn’t always Christmas for us. The advantage to being flexible is that we spent the entire day celebrating together and saved the traveling around for other days.
It has been something I have wanted to start with my family for years, but the timing was never right, so having the whole day together this year made my momma’s heart super happy.
Our Christmas celebrations aren’t done yet, but come this time every year I am very ready to dial back in on nutrition.
If you’re ready for a healthier meal plan in the New Year be sure to come here every Monday, because I share our family’s healthy dinner plan for the week! And yes this is actually what we eat!
