Happy meal plan Monday! Do you ever look at your kids and suddenly experience a hyper-lapsed Mommy moment?
All of a sudden the years have flown by, your baby is grown up, and you see yourself longing to have just one day with their younger selves again?
This little man asks me to “snuggle” every night at bedtime.
All of my children do, so I try to rotate between them, but last night as I was laying beside Caleb watching him sleep, the years flashed before my eyes and suddenly his stuffed animals disappeared and his skinny little body turned into that of a teenager.
I laid beside him a little longer last night.
I will love those years too, but for now, I am savoring my scrawny, sweet little man with the high-pitched voice whose only grief in life is having lost his favorite stuffed animal.
This weekend was another round of fireside fun with the family, and we savored the 70 degree Saturday!
We are still in the process of finishing up our basement which involves a roll-off dumpster and lots of shuffling boxes as we prep to lay the floor.
A couple of finishing details and we are ready to stage this house and get it on the market.
I was honored to be interviewed by Bree Gordon, host of the Mindful Mentor Podcast, and you can listen here for our conversation and discover 5 ways to use the decor in your home to make you happier – even if you’re not a designer!
