Frothy, rich, and delicious, enjoy this homemade creamy treat and learn how to make a latte Nespresso – low carb!
I love coffee. It makes me feel warm and happy inside.
There is something comforting about holding a hot mug of liquid in my hand any time of the year.
We have built quite the coffee bar over the years, and you can see our favorite products below.
For this recipe, I use two of my favorite coffee machines – our automated espresso machine for Nespresso and our automated milk frother.
To up the nutrient density, I add one scoop of collagen peptides to the drink. Collagen is a beneficial protein for hair, skin, and nails.
The powder dissolves instantly in hot liquid. I add one scoop to my first cup of coffee each morning.
For this recipe, you can eliminate this ingredient if desired.
I then add 1/2 tsp of cane sugar for a little added sweetness.
The secret to this recipe, other than high-quality espresso, is using half and half for your milk base.
It results in a creamy base with a delicious froth.
You can use other dairy or non-dairy bases such as 2% milk, whole milk, almond creamer, oat creamers.
I fill the electric milk frother to the minimum level or the first line. You just press the button and then it automatically turns off once the milk is done frothing.
This is the easiest and most delicious cup of espresso. We have had this machine for years, and you can read my detailed review of the Lattisima Plus Automated Espresso machine.
Get ready for the most delicious latte.
Not only is it a yummy taste of coffee, but packs a punch of protein and is low carb to boot.
First, let’s drool over the delicious frothy espresso crema from my Nespresso machine.
Now to add the frothed milk!
These double-walled, insulated coffee glasses make the drink taste even better.
Add a little sprinkling of cinnamon on the top and voila.
