Cheesy Mashed Potatoes – Slow Cooker
Do you cook most of the holiday meals in your home? At this point, we are still blessed to have a lot of our grandparents living, so we contribute side dishes and desserts like this cheesy mashed potatoes slow cooker recipe every year for Easter.
I have had this recipe in my “stash” for many years, and it will be no wonder that the secret ingredient is Greek yogurt.
The Greek yogurt adds a delicious creaminess to the final product, and of course, who can go wrong with any recipe that involves sharp cheddar cheese.
I don’t make this recipe often, but every year I end up making it for Easter dinner at one of the 5 family gatherings over the course of the weekend.
It’s the perfect stress-free side dish thanks to the slow cooker, and it tastes amazing with a sweet glazed ham!
Another of our favorite potato side dishes is this roasted garlic potatoes recipe.
Bon appetit!
